A trip to Government Veterinar clinic in Larkin, JB

Story of today.
The kitten sadly looking at the medicine. Why I need to take it?!
The kitten was suspected to be infected by parasite. As you could see, the fur at the front paw falling out. Which obviously showing the skin of the kitten.
Me and my good hearted labmate helps to send the kitten to goverment veterinar clinic in Larkin today as the owner have class at that time.
The journey took us around 20 minutes driving time. Around 17 km from UTM JB.
Split between cats and dogs at the counter
The uninviting gate entrance
Entrance area

Consulting the kitten condition at the counter
The kitten listen patiently with my labmate
The sync couple focus on the explanation of the prescribed medicine
The instruction for the medicine:
1. Have to clean up and bath the kitten till it clean.
2. Rinse off and make sure to wipe the fur till dry.
3. Put the medicine at the skin of its neck. For cat weight less than 1.2 kg, only put 1 drop of the medicine. For weight more than 1.2 kg, put 2 drops of the medicine.
4. Need to put the medicine once a week. It is strongly advised to bring the cat to vet every week after putting the medicine to the cat.

Put the medicine like putting the flea medication to the cat.
WARNING
This medicine is a poison. Fatal is consumed by both human and anima.
Do not put more than instructed. Only put on the skin in the neck of the cat. That is all. If not sure, asked experienced people.
Do not put the medicine like lotion. As the kitten/cat will definitely lick the medicine off their skin or fur. Which would result slow and torturing death of the kitten/cat.
Do read throughly the instruction and the whole medicine box plus the paper inside the box. This is to avoid misunderstanding and to be more cautious on the step to use the medicine.

The price of the antiparasite medicine is RM 25.

I was thinking of getting vaccination for the kitten. However, vaccination can only be done once the kitten reach 3 months old.

This is a new info to me. As I never have a pet before. I normally just help my friend once to give food to their cats. That's all.
Regardless what, I would definitely not putting the antiparasite medicine like lotion to the kitten. It is a basic knowledge to know the potency of the medicine once stated "only 1 drop per week". Plus, also being advised to bring the kitten to the clinic every week after putting on the antiparasite to it.

Hope the info would help those who are about to start having a cat as their pet. And please, DO READ CAREFULLY the label on any medicine to your pet in order to avoid sudden death to them due to your ignorance reading the medicine instructions.

Good luck. And wish you have a healthy pet that still alive.
